The program is developed by Kristofer Block together with the software company Colix Systems AB with developers with backgrounds from e.g. the accounting giant and success story Fortnox AB. In the past year, in addition to running the combined firm Block Revisionsbyrå in the High Coast Sweden, Kristofer has invested heavily in the quality concept Block Audit Quality, which provides small and medium-sized audit firms with support in various ways with quality issues. The company offers a form of Quality manager function that all large agencies have today, but targeted and niched towards small and medium-sized audit firms.
Through his involvement in FAR’s auditing standards group, Kristofer has specialized in auditing in small and medium-sized limited companies as well as the ISQM1 standard and how quality management works. In the year 2022, Kristofer has helped more than 30 agencies of varying sizes to design and implement their quality management systems.
He has written about the experiences from that work in the book “ISQM1 for small and medium-sized audit firms – Design and implement your quality management system” Now, together with Colix Systems, he has also developed the ultimate tool for documentation of all countermeasures as well as monitoring and evaluation. Kristofer is also a popular lecturer on FAR’s courses “deviating audit reports” and the basic course in ISQM1.
Kristofer is passionate about helping small and medium-sized agencies to raise their quality. The program is a natural consequence of this commitment where Kristofer through his knowledge of both how the standard ISQM1 works and the ISA regulations can give you as an agency support to follow the rules you need to follow in order to submit the best possible reports.
Through the application owned by the newly started subsidiary Block ISQMOnline AB, Block Audit Quality AB hopes to provide the small and medium-sized accounting and auditing firms with perfect support to achieve the relatively high threshold to be able to run a small or medium-sized firm today.
The technical platform that ISQMOnline is based on was developed by the Växjö company Colix Systems AB.
Colix Systems was founded in 2017 by Jens Collskog and Peter Lindberg. The company has developed a technical platform for mobile apps and web solutions for companies in various industries and other organizations. Both founders have an extensive background in system development and running growth companies. Jens Collskog is best known as one of the founders of, and former CEO of, Fortnox AB, Sweden’s leading supplier of web-based financial systems. Peter Lindberg is an IT entrepreneur who founded and ran several companies such as Smartserver and Apirix and is the brain behind the Colix technical platform. The CEO of Colix Systems is Therese Lundstedt, who has a background in finance, construction and the IT industry, including as CEO of the stock network broker Aktieinvest and most recently as CEO of the green construction company Urbangreen.
Today, Colix Systems has customers from, among other things, the construction and real estate industry, the haulage and hospitality industry, as well as housing associations where the customers buy Colix Systems’ SaaS service. In addition to the SaaS customers, who are found all over Sweden, Colix Systems also has a number of partner collaborations, of which ISQMOnline is one.
In ISQMOnline’s case, the technical platform is adapted for the audit industry and enables, among other things, a. digitization of internal processes and HR processes, which are obvious features of the countermeasures that the ISQM1 standard imposes on audit firms.
Block Audit Quality AB and Colix Systems AB are sure that they are a so-called perfect match, where one party brings Sweden’s leading competence regarding both ISQM1 and current audit issues and the other party competence regarding the development of modern and smart applications. This is to be able to jointly create a modern and effective support for the independent or networked audit firms to comply with both ISQM1 and other smart target group-adapted functions. This is so that all of the program’s customers can more easily meet the increasingly high threshold of rules that all players in the industry are affected by. Now they have jointly developed the ultimate tool for documentation of all responses as well as monitoring and evaluation according to ISQM1.
